Switch Protection and Control Cabinet, manufactured by the "SVEL" Group, is designed for controlling switching devices and visualizing the switchgear diagram and the entire substation.

Main functions of the cabinet:

• Maximum current protection: prevents equipment damage during short circuits by providing multiple protection levels with the possibility of automatic backup activation when necessary.
• Directional maximum current protection: responds to the direction of short-circuit current power, ensuring selective protection.
• Current cutoff: provides instant disconnection during short circuits in a specific circuit section.
• Negative sequence current protection: safeguards the network from overloads caused by asymmetric currents.
• Open-phase protection: prevents equipment damage in case of phase loss.
• Loss of mains protection: disconnects equipment during prolonged or brief voltage drops, preventing operation in unacceptable modes.

Automation functions:

• Switch monitoring and control: provides status monitoring and remote control of switching devices.
• Backup under switch fault and automatic backup input: enhances system reliability during failures.
• Synchronization and SF₆ gas pressure monitoring: ensures correct switch operation and operational safety.
• Automation of backup input and reclosure: restores power after emergency shutdowns.
