Protective Screens Type EZSH
Protective screens of type EZSH are designed to prevent insulation breakdowns on power transmission lines (PTL) caused by metallic ribbons of helium-filled balloons, foil balloons, and other conductive objects. They comply with the requirements of STO 34.01-2.2-011-2015 of PJSC "Rosseti" and are manufactured according to TU 3449-001-52819896-2013.
Necessity of Application
In urban areas, there are frequent cases of short circuits on PTL caused by the movement of balloon clusters along the wires under the influence of wind. This can lead to the shunting of insulating suspensions to the metal structures of supports, causing suspension breakdowns and PTL shutdowns. The installation of EZSH protective screens prevents such movement, reducing the risk of short circuits. Additionally, these devices prevent birds from moving along the wires and horizontally positioned insulators, which also reduces the likelihood of short circuits and bird fatalities.
Design Advantages
- Made of plastic resistant to ultraviolet radiation, bird droppings, mechanical loads (wind, ice, etc.), and electric arc.
- Non-flammable (flammability class FV(PV)-0 according to GOST 28779).
- Service life of at least 40 years.
- Fastening elements are made of stainless or galvanized steel.
Technical Specifications
EZSH protective screens are intended for use on PTL with a voltage class from 6 to 750 kV. They are suitable for wires with diameters ranging from 13.5 to 45 mm and can be operated in wind regions I-VII. The weight of the products varies from 0.38 to 0.44 kg depending on the model.
