Linear hardware for self-supporting insulated wires (SIW) for 0.4 kV overhead distribution lines

The insulated adapter for short-circuiting and grounding of the AIZZ type

The insulated adapter for short-circuiting and grounding of the AIZZ type is designed for voltage measurement, short-circuiting, or protective grounding of lines using short-circuiting devices like UZK, grounding devices like UZM, or universal short-circuiting and grounding devices UZMK during work on insulated overhead lines (VLI). The adapters are installed on the conductive and neutral conductors of self-supporting insulated wire (SIP) for the entire service life of the line, typically at its beginning and end. To access the bronze plug contact with a retainer, the insulating cap is removed; the plug contact has an opening for voltage absence testing. Installing the AIZZ adapter on the line requires the use of a piercing branch clamp OR 645 or OR-645M. The AIZZ adapter has one plug and is intended for connecting short-circuiting devices UZK-5, UZK-6, UZK-7, UZMK-5, UZMK-6, UZMK-7, M5D, M6D, M7D. The AIZZ 40 adapter also has one plug and is designed for connecting short-circuiting devices like SE 41, UZK-5-41, UZK-6-41, UZK-7-41, as well as UZMK-5-41, UZMK-6-41, UZMK-7-41. The universal adapter AIZZ 40-2 is equipped with two plugs and is intended for connecting short-circuiting devices of both groups. The products are manufactured in accordance with TU 3449-004-52819896-2010.
