Supporting Nodes Type UP.P
Supporting nodes of type UP.P are designed for intermediate fastening of self-supporting optical cables (OPGW), including "8" type cables, to poles of urban and distribution power lines. The nodes are installed on reinforced concrete pole shafts with trapezoidal cross-sections, with dimensions ranging from 185 to 245 mm. Intermediate fastening of OPGW is achieved by suspending the clamp that secures the cable directly onto the hook of the node. For organizing intermediate fastening of OPGW, one node is installed per pole. The UP.P(2) node is used in double-circuit FOCL-OL. It is possible to manufacture nodes for shafts with dimensions different from those specified. In this case, the order should specify: UP.P(1) — L x L* or UP.P(2) — L x L*, where L is the overall dimension of the shaft at the point of attachment of the supporting crossarm, mm; L* is the overall dimension of the shaft on the side of the pin, mm.
Technical Specifications:
- UP.P(1): breaking load 5 kN; weight 3.5 kg.
- UP.P(2): breaking load 5 kN; weight 4.7 kg.
