SF₆ gas-insulated current transformers of the TG-SVEL-110

SF₆ gas-insulated current transformers of the TG-SVEL-110 series, manufactured by the "SVEL" Group, are designed for current measurement and the transmission of measurement signals to metering devices, protection, automation, signaling, and control systems in electrical networks with a nominal voltage of 110 kV. They ensure the insulation of secondary circuit connections from high voltage and comply with national, international, and industry standards.

Main technical characteristics:

  • Nominal voltage: 110 kV
  • Maximum operating voltage: 126 kV
  • Nominal primary current: from 600 A to 2000 A
  • Nominal secondary current: 1 A or 5 A
  • Accuracy class: 0.2S; 0.2; 0.5S; 0.5; 1; 3 for measurements; 5P; 10P for protection
  • Nominal frequency: 50 Hz
  • Impulse withstand voltage: 550 kV
  • Power frequency withstand voltage: 230 kV
  • Climatic version: UHL1 according to GOST 15150
  • Mechanical endurance: at least 10,000 cycles
  • Service life: at least 30 years

Advantages and design features:

  • High structural strength: transformers feature a substantial safety margin, ensuring durability and reliability during operation.
  • Compact and lightweight: reduced weight facilitates easier transportation and installation.
  • Minimal SF₆ gas volume: the low filling volume of SF₆ gas enhances safety and reduces operational costs.
  • Explosion safety: the design ensures explosion resistance, increasing operational safety.
  • Hermetic sealing: materials used ensure a gas leakage rate of no more than 0.5% per year.
  • Multi-winding design: the measuring section can include up to 7 windings, allowing flexible parameter adjustments.
  • Transforming ratio adjustment: allows for adjustment through secondary winding taps or primary winding switching (1:2:4).
  • High-quality materials: the insulator is made of electrical porcelain, meeting mechanical strength requirements.
  • Quality control: the tank and base are manufactured using low-pressure casting with strict strength and tightness controls.

Operating conditions:
TГ-СВЭЛ-110 current transformers are designed for operation in regions with moderate and cold climates at ambient temperatures ranging from -60 °C to +40 °C. They are suitable for installation at altitudes up to 1000 m above sea level and are resistant to icing and wind exposure.
