High-voltage disconnectors
High-voltage disconnectors produced by the «SVEL» Group are designed for reliable transmission of nominal current and for performing operations of connecting and disconnecting de-energized sections of an electrical circuit that are under voltage. They also provide grounding of disconnected sections using grounding knives and are capable of disconnecting no-load currents of transformers, as well as charging currents of overhead and cable lines.
Main technical characteristics:
- Nominal voltage: 35 kV and 110 kV.
- Nominal current: from 630 A to 2500 A depending on the model.
- Thermal withstand current: from 25 kA to 40 kA.
- Mechanical endurance: at least 10,000 "on-off" cycles.
- Service life: at least 30 years.
Advantages of «SVEL» disconnectors:
- Compliance with Russian and international standards.
- Universal design allowing the installation of the grounding knife on either side, eliminating design errors and reducing the volume of spare parts.
- Silver-plated main contacts and nickel-plated grounding contacts ensure stable electrical contact.
- Suitable for use in digital substations due to the monitoring and control system installed according to IEC 61850 standard.
- Ease of installation and minimal assembly time on site due to a high degree of factory assembly and equipment setup.
Operating conditions:
Disconnectors and drives are manufactured in UHL climatic version, placement category 1 according to GOST 15150, and are intended for outdoor installation at altitudes up to 1000 m above sea level in areas with moderate and cold climates. They are designed to operate in ambient temperatures from -60 °C to +40 °C and are resistant to icing and wind exposure.
