Porcelain Insulators IOS-35-2000 UHL1

Purpose:
The IOS-35-2000 UHL1 insulators by VOLTA are designed for the insulated attachment of live parts within electrical installations, substations, and switchgear that operate at alternating voltages above 1000 V and frequencies up to 100 Hz. These insulators are recommended for use in harsh environments, such as areas with high pollution, frequent icing, and fog.

Key Advantages:

  • High mechanical bending strength.
  • Verified torsional resistance through testing.
  • Compatibility with disconnect switches.
  • High resistance to pollution, suitable for severe operating conditions.
  • Excellent electrical properties validated by high-voltage tests.
  • Slow aging rate, ensuring reliable performance over time.
  • Reduced weight, facilitating easier installation, reducing structural metal requirements, and simplifying transportation logistics.

Warranty:
The warranty period for the insulator is 10 years from the date of commissioning, with a total service life of at least 35 years. The manufacturer offers free replacement of damaged insulators within the warranty period, provided installation and operational conditions were adhered to.
