Polymer Insulating Fixed Crossarms for 220 kV

These crossarms are designed for securing and insulating conductors on steel (lattice and polygonal) and reinforced concrete poles of AC overhead power lines with voltages of 220 kV at frequencies up to 100 Hz, operating in ambient temperatures from -60 °C to +50 °C. Climatic version and placement category — UHL 1 according to GOST 15150.

Designation of Crossarms:

  • TFT 220-G60T8R45C45-3: Fixed insulating crossarm with turnbuckle for 220 kV.
  • TFTU 220-G60T8R45C45-3: Fixed insulating crossarm with turnbuckle and extended construction length for 220 kV.

Designation Breakdown:

  • TFT: Fixed polymer insulating crossarm with turnbuckle.
  • TFTU: Fixed polymer insulating crossarm with turnbuckle and increased "conductor-pole" distance.
  • 220: Voltage class, kV.
  • GXX: Vertical bending force in the plane of the crossarm, kN.
  • TXX: Horizontal bending force in the plane perpendicular to the crossarm (standard installation effort), kN.
  • RXX: Horizontal tensile force in the plane of the crossarm, kN.
  • CXX: Horizontal compressive force in the plane of the crossarm, kN.
  • 3: Maximum pollution degree for which the crossarm is suitable.
