Linear Pin-Type Polymer Insulators of the ShPF Type
Linear pin-type polymer insulators of the ShPF type are designed for securing and insulating uninsulated and insulated wires of the SIP-3 type on overhead power lines and distribution devices of power plants and substations with alternating current voltages of 6–20 kV at frequencies up to 100 Hz, operating in ambient temperatures ranging from -60 °C to +50 °C.
The climatic version and placement category comply with UHL 1 according to GOST 15150. The conductor can be secured in the groove or on the neck of the insulator. Insulators are mounted on standard pins using caps of the "K" and "KP" types. The design of the "A" modification insulators allows for the direct rolling out of SIP-3 wires over the insulators without the use of rolling pulleys, reducing installation time and cost. After rolling out the wires over the "A" modification insulators, they should be secured in the groove or on the neck of the insulator on straight sections of the line and on the neck at line turns. Insulators are manufactured according to TU 3493-014-82442590-2010.
Note: When using the ShPF 20 insulator on 10 kV overhead lines, the permissible pollution degree is IV.
