TPPSH ng(A), TPPSH ng(A)-LS Telephone Cables
Main Design Elements:
- Conductor:
- Round solid copper conductor (Ø 0.4, 0.5, 0.64 mm)
- Insulation:
- Polyethylene (PE)
- Pair Assembly:
- Two insulated cores are twisted into a pair.
- Pair Laying:
- Pairs are laid into primary bundles (five or ten pairs) or a cable core.
- Separating Layer:
- Binding winding of synthetic or cotton threads or synthetic tapes applied in an open helix over a primary bundle.
- Primary Bundle Assembly:
- Bundles are laid into cable cores by unidirectional or multidirectional stranding.
- Inner Covering:
- Polyamide, polyethylene, or polyethylene terephthalate tapes applied helically or longitudinally with overlapping.
- Screen:
- Aluminum/polymer tape screen with a tinned copper wire under the screen.
- Sheath:
- Polyethylene
- Protective Jacket:
- For "ng(A)" index cables: Low flammability PVC.
- For "ng(A)-LS" index cables: Reduced fire hazard PVC.
Application:
- Used in local primary communication networks with a rated voltage of up to 225 V AC (50 Hz) or 315 V DC.
