TGF-500
Current Transformer TGF-500
The TGF-500 current transformer is designed for intersystem transmission lines of Russia's Unified Energy System and was commissioned by FGC UES in December 2007. Electroapparat produced 500-750 kV current transformers in the 1950s and 1960s for the first intersystem transmission lines from the Volga hydroelectric power plants to Moscow and the Urals. Production was later transferred to the Zaporozhye High Voltage Apparatus Plant. The TGF-500 incorporates advanced technical solutions from AО "NIVA" and AO VO "Electroapparat" and includes IEC 61850 digital converters for GOOSE message transmission via fiber optic channels.
