Spiral clamps of types PVS and PVSn
Spiral clamps of types PVS and PVSn are designed for attaching conductors of brands A, AC, and AJ to pin and suspension line insulators on overhead power lines (OPL) with voltages of 6–35 kV. They are made from galvanized spring wire with a polymer coating resistant to atmospheric influences. The clamps are easy to install and feature color coding for easy identification.
Main characteristics:
- PVS: developed as a replacement for traditional aluminum wire twisting, providing a more economical and convenient solution.
- PVSn: made from non-magnetic materials, eliminating losses due to magnetization, in line with the technical policy of PJSC "Rosseti".
Types of attachment:
- Single attachment: clamps of type PVS_ / _-10 (20, 35) are intended for single attachment of the conductor to insulators.
- Double attachment: clamps of type PVS_ / -10 (20, 35)-02 are designed for double attachment of the conductor to insulators. In this case, two clamps of type PVS / -10 (20, 35) are used on the main insulator, and one clamp of type PVS / _-10 (20, 35)-02 on the additional insulator.
Technical specifications:
- PVS(n) 25/50-10: for conductors with a cross-section of 25–50 mm², white marking.
- PVS(n) 35/50-10: for conductors with a cross-section of 35–50 mm², yellow marking.
- PVS(n) 70/95-10: for conductors with a cross-section of 70–95 mm², green marking.
- PVS(n) 120/150-10: for conductors with a cross-section of 120–150 mm², black marking.
Spiral clamps of types PVS and PVSn comply with TU 3449-001-52819896-2010 and provide reliable attachment of conductors on OPL 6–35 kV.
