Power Cables for Voltage 0.66–6 kV

Power cable VVG, AVVG

Power cables of the VVG and AVVG brands are designed for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations with a nominal alternating voltage of 0.66, 1, 3, and 6 kV at a frequency of 50 Hz.

Structural features:

  1. Conductor: round or sector-shaped, single-wire or multi-wire compacted, made of copper (VVG) or aluminum (AVVG).
  2. Insulation: made of polyvinyl chloride plasticate (PVC) or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE).
  3. Twisting: insulated conductors are twisted together.
  4. Inner filling: for cables without armor or screen — made of unvulcanized rubber compound or PVC plasticate; for cables with armor or screen — made of PVC plasticate or applied by wrapping or longitudinally with PVC plasticate tapes.
  5. Screen: made of copper wires and a binding copper tape; it is permissible to manufacture the screen from two copper tapes or copper foil.
  6. Separator layer: for cables with a screen — made of crepe or cable paper, or rubberized fabric, or polypropylene tape.
  7. Belt insulation: for cables with a screen and armor — made of PVC plasticate.
  8. Armor: for cables of the (A)VBBShv, (A)VBShv, (A)PvBShv types — made of two galvanized steel tapes; for cables of the (A)VEBCbShv, (A)VKShv, (A)VVCbShv types — made of galvanized steel wires; for cables of the (A)VEVCbShv, (A)VEVCaShv, (A)VKaShv types — made of aluminum wires or wires made of aluminum alloy.
  9. Sheath: made of PVC plasticate.

Application:

The cables are intended for laying single cable lines in cable structures and premises. When laying in groups, the use of fire protection means is mandatory.
