NPO-8 Compression Tension Clamp for Mounting OK "8"
Purpose: Designed for anchoring the external (load-bearing) element of "8" type optical cable over long spans. Installation requires separating the external element from the optical module. The separated, cut, and stripped (to the length of the sleeve) external element is passed through the hole in the clamp body. A special sleeve is then crimped onto it from the tension side of the clamp. The external element is pulled back, securing the crimped sleeve in the clamp body and ensuring reliable attachment. The junction of the sleeve and protective sheath is sealed with a special rubber bushing inside the clamp body. The extended clamp body protects the external element from bending stresses at the sleeve exit. Installation requires special tools: PMK 240 press and matrix No. 35, included in the set. Manufactured in climatic version UHL 1 according to GOST 15150.
