High-Voltage Fuse Mounting for PKT

High-voltage fuses of the PKT type are designed to protect electrical installations with voltages exceeding 1000 V. Special mounts are used for their reliable installation and operation, ensuring both mechanical fixation and electrical insulation.

Mounting Structure:

  • Fuse Holders: Made from galvanized or anodized steel, copper, or brass. They provide reliable electrical contact and mechanical fixation of the fuse.
  • Insulators: The attachment of holders to the body or supporting structures is carried out using insulators. A modern and reliable solution is the use of IORP-type support polymer insulators, which have high mechanical strength and resistance to external influences.

Advantages of Using IORP Insulators:

  • High mechanical strength in bending and torsion.
  • Resistance to contamination and suitability for operation in harsh conditions.
  • Simplified installation and reduced metal consumption of structures due to the decreased weight of the insulators.
