Power cables for a voltage of 6–45 kV

APvP and PvP Power Cables

APvP and PvP power cables are designed for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in fixed installations. They are available in various configurations and materials to meet different requirements for insulation, flame retardancy, and mechanical protection.

Key Features

  1. Central Filling:
    • ng Index: Flame retardant PVC compound.
    • ng-LS Index: Low smoke flame retardant PVC compound.
    • ng-HF Index: Halogen-free polymer compound.
    • Other Cables: Chalk-filled non-vulcanized rubber or PVC compound.
  2. Round Stranded Compacted Conductor:
    • Material: Aluminum (A) or copper.
    • Cross-section: 35–300 sq.mm.
  3. Conductor Screen:
    • Made from extruded peroxide cross-linkable polyethylene compound.
  4. Insulation:
    • Made from peroxide cross-linkable polyethylene (Pv).
  5. Insulation Screen:
    • Extruded peroxide cross-linkable polyethylene compound.
  6. Separating Layer:
    • Without g Index: Tape of electrically conductive paper or polymer, or nonwoven fabric.
    • With g Index: Electrically conductive water-blocking tape.
  7. Copper Wires Screen:
    • Cross-section: Not less than 16 sq.mm for 35–120 sq.mm conductors, 25 sq.mm for 150–300 sq.mm conductors, and 35 sq.mm for conductors above 300 sq.mm.
  8. Interphase Filling:
    • ng Index: Flame retardant PVC compound.
    • ng-LS Index: Low fire hazard PVC compound.
    • ng-HF Index: Halogen-free polymer compound.
    • Other Cables: Chalk-filled non-vulcanized rubber or PVC compound.
  9. Inner Sheath for Armored Cables:
    • ng Index: Flame retardant PVC compound.

    • ng-HF Index: Halogen-free polymer compound.
    • Other Cables: Chalk-filled non-vulcanized rubber or PVC compound.
  10. Armor:
    • Zinc-coated steel tapes (B) or wires (K), aluminum wires, or aluminum alloy wires (Ka).
  11. Separating Layer:
    • Aluminum/polymer tape for cables with 2g and u2g indexes.
  12. Sheath:
    • P Index: Polyethylene.
    • Pu Index: Polyethylene with increased thickness.
    • V Index: PVC compound.
    • ng Index: Fire retardant PVC compound.
    • ng-LS Index: Low fire hazard PVC compound.
    • ng-HF Index: Halogen-free polymer compound.

Application

These cables are suitable for laying in the ground (trenches) irrespective of soil corrosiveness, provided they are protected from mechanical damage. They have a fire hazard class of 02.8.2.5.4 according to GOST 31565-2012. XLPE insulated cables are designed for AC voltage transmission and distribution with ratings of 6, 10, 15, 20, and 35 kV at 50 Hz for networks with grounded and insulated neutral.

Summary

APvP and PvP cables are robust, versatile power cables designed for various industrial applications, providing high-performance electrical transmission with safety and reliability features such as flame retardancy and halogen-free insulation options.
